Seitsemäs albumi "gestalt" on tavallaan paluuta "bq #2"-levyn kokeiluihin, mutta entistäkin rytmikkäämmässä muodossa. Vaikka levyllä onkin vain yksi vajaa 40-minuuttinen kokonaisuus nimeltään "gestalt" (38:13), koostuu se useista lyhyemmistä toisistaan hyvinkin paljon eroavista osasista, joita ei kuitenkaan ole erikseen numeroitu tai indeksoitu.
Levy on tehty vajaan yhdeksän kuukauden aikana (28. huhtikuuta 2009 - 18. tammikuuta 2010) käyttäen sämplejä. (Osaa levystä on siis työstetty jo edellisen levyn tekoprosessin aikana.)
Levy on 50 kpl:n cd-r -painos ja sen julkaisi Luovaja (julkaisupäivä 9.4.2010).
Levyä voi tilata levy-yhtiöltä hintaan 4 e (sisältää postituksen).

* "Bearly Queen is a solo project by Oulu-based Heikki Kippola where he combines different sound sources into experimental ambient music by sampling. The man is a well-known prog enthusiast and record collector and he has previously written for Colossus mag, for example. At least his seventh album does not (luckily) sound like Genesis or anything like that. I have not heard the other Bearly Queen releases, but they apparently include material that’s even harder to digest than this. "gestalt" has just one, over 38-minute-long track with the same name and it begins very quietly and peacefully. Before the six-minute-marker some more clearly audible, psychedelic sounds start to appear and this in fact sounds like pretty good, a bit cosmic ambient. Then we’ve got some strongly effected human voice and exciting, electronic beat. Nice! Then the track hums at the background noise level for several minutes again, until a different, nice, lazy beat comes in for a while. After the next more tranquil sequence we get another new, a bit more well-defined and hypnotic beat and the rest of the track is cosmic, psychedelic floating again. This massive track could have made a few shorter, more intense pieces, but this sonic web holds together surprisingly well considering how long and vague it is. I believe that many friends of experimental, electronic ambient music all over the world will enjoy this album.
